In a survey of My Grief Angels' online site, chat and mobile app users, the non-profit learned that the number 1 reason "people grieving loved ones" gave for not trying out Virtual Peerled Grief Support Groups was that they had never been in a support group and that they didn't know what went on in these groups.

In an effort to address the challenge cited above, Volunteers from My Grief Angels produced one of the first publicly available educational re-enactment examples of a full "Virtual Peerled Grief Support Group Meeting".  Our hope is that with this video and the fact that all of My Grief Angels' virtual grief support groups are Open groups -which means there is no attendance requirement - people grieving a loss but unfamiliar with these groups may be more open to testing one out.

IMPORTANT:

With my request to participate in this free virtual peer led grief support group chat, I hereby consent to participate in an online peer-led bereavement support group facilitated by My Grief Angels.

I acknowledge and understand the following:

1. That the purpose of these groups is to offer peer-led bereavement support to individuals who are grieving the death of a family member or friend.

2. That this group is being provided via Zoom video conferencing.
