Grieving Parents Suggestions for

medical schools;

Hospital Presidents and Board of Directors

My Grief Angels' Volunteers; Online Community Members, and Virtual Grief Support Groups Members are very thankful and appreciative of the critical and healing work many healthcare workers have and/or are currently playing in each of ours and our families' grief journeys.

As per some of the videos shared here on the difficult work and the many challenges faced by healthcare workers during the recent pandemic,

We and most of the country recognizes the "urgent" need to improve their working conditions; patient loads; work demands; training and compensation/benefits.

At the suggestion of many of the grieving families that use the My Grief Angels' online community; grief chat space; virtual grief support groups and other resources, we created the "Video Uploader" below to enable them to share their suggestions for the senior leadership of Medical Schools and Hospital Systems based on their own real-life experiences in dealing with the death of loved ones at healthcare / Hospitals facilities.

If you are grieving the loss of a loved one that died in a Hospital; Emergency Rooms; Nursing Facility; Rehabilitation Center;  Hospice Care or others, and would like to share training suggestions based on your experience,

Please use your cell phone or laptop to record a video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes that includes:

- Your first name,

- Who you are grieving,

- What type (not the name of facility) of healthcare facility your loved one died in, and

- Your top training suggestion on how your traumatic loss experience at the healthcare facility where your loved one died could have been improved.

- Once you have recorded the video, please click on the "Video Uploader" below to upload your video.

- Once enough videos have been collected, our My Grief Angels' volunteers will edit and compile all the video suggestions into one video that we will make available to senior leaders at Healthcare facilities worldwide with the hope that some of these suggestions may help others in the future.

"Health care workers express overwhelming fatigue as COVID-19 cases surge across the country, The coronavirus pandemic is causing a mental health crisis among frontline health care workers. Studies show that about half have experienced acute stress and exhibited depressive symptoms. As the number of hospitalizations hits a record high, the emotional toll is also increasing. Doctors and nurses told CBS News they've been working at a relentless pace for months, and now they are dealing with new challenges and fears."

Healthcare Workers Speak Out About Struggles Of Caring For Patients, Family & Themselves. As hospitals ban visitors, many healthcare workers are forced to become family and friends to their patients — and many of those doctors, nurses and staff are cut off from their own loved ones for fear of spreading the coronavirus. “I think each one of us breaks down at a different time of day,” one nurse tells us.

Healthcare workers experience burnout and stress from pandemic. With thousands of healthcare workers across the world on the front lines caring for others during the COVID-19 pandemic, they're just not feeling the impacts physically but mentally as well. My Grief Angels offers an online grief support group for healthcare workers and caregivers which is led by healthcare professional volunteers online grief support group for healthcare workers and caregivers
